St. Peter's Family Life Ministry is all about the next generation of believers and followers of Jesus Christ! Children learn more about their Savior, what He has done for them and how they can follow Him. Sunday Morning Education for 3 year olds through 6th graders is held in the PITSTOP, our children's center, from 9:45 to 10:30 am. (Nursery is available for children under three.)
For more information about Family Life, contact Vicar John David Mull at jdmull@stpeterfw.org.
Children's Message Team
During the message time in the 10:45 am worship service, children ages 3 through 2nd grade are lead out of the Worship Center. (Parents are welcome to come the first few times, too, if you'd like.) They will spend about 20 minutes with the St. Peter puppets and other helpers who will teach them about Jesus and the Bible through age-appropriate activities such as songs, crafts and puppet shows. The kids will return to the Worship Center just before communion. If you are interested in helping with this ministry as a puppeteer, craft aide or "block parent" (adults who just hang out with the kids), contact Dennis Wiechman by email at info@stpeterfw.org and put CMT in the subject line.
Discovery
DISCOVERY at St. Peter is THE place to be on Wednesday evenings! This year, elementary children are discovering God's love with Bible awards and skill activities, and preschoolers are learning about living! Discovery meets from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday evenings during BASIC. Pre-school Discovery is for those ages 3 & 4, and Discovery is for those in Kindergarten through 4th grade. The registration fee for the year for Preschool is $12 per child and for Discovery is $20 per child. Please fill out a registration form for each child - see link below. For more information, contact Mimi Broyles at info@stpeterfw.org.
Cub Scouts
St. Peter sponsors a Cub Scout troop which meets on Tuesday evenings at the church. As these boys grow, we plan to offer Boy Scouts as well. For more information about Cub Scouts, contact Scout Committee Chairman George Smith at info@stpeterfw.org.
