Funding the Future
"Funding the Future" is our financial focus to resource our church so we can more powerfully deploy on the spiritual battlefield and advance Christ's Kingdom. So how can you participate in "Funding the Future"?
- By enrolling in the Joyful Response program. Joyful Response is an automated giving program to support your desires to honor the Lord in a consistent way. Applications are in the atrium on the Funding the Future table or can be downloaded below. You can return the completed form to our church office or place it in the offering on a Sunday morning.
- By investing in Church Extension Fund (CEF). Your investment with CEF provides funds to build Lutheran churches and schools in Texas even as you receive a competitive interest rate on your money. CEF is also our mortgage lender and the more investors we have ensures us the lowest interest rate on our mortgage as well as giving us the opportunity to receive an annual rebate check. Investments can be as little as $10 to start. Applications are in the atrium on the Funding the Future table, or can be downloaded here. See below to download more information. Still have questions? Please feel free to contact Mike and Carol Danner (our CEF reps) at info@stpeterfw.org or by calling the church office.
- By giving a tithe (10%) in response to God's grace. The Bible has much to say about giving, with the tithe (10%) being the benchmark of our faithfulness to the Lord. Spend time studying Tithing: It's More Than the Number Ten - download below and then pray about what the Lord is calling you to give in response to His grace.
- By making special offerings for future facilities. In addition to our regular on-going giving in response to God's grace, we also have the opportunity to give beyond our tithe with special offerings for future facilities on our campus. Go to our Media page to view our master plan. There, you can also watch an animated version of that plan.
If you have any questions regarding our "Funding the Future" focus, please contact our Treasurer, Danny Coleman, at info@stpeterfw.org, or by calling the church office at 817-491-2010.
