What makes Concordia Academy UNIQUE?  We go BEYOND Education!

• Our day school consists of a traditional program and a homeschool partnership program. Whether parents choose the traditional or homeschool partnership, students receive an academic, Christ-centered approach to learning. With the rigorous expectations of state and national standards, our goal is to equip students for the future.

• The two-day homeschool partnership program is Monday and Wednesday. The two-day program focuses on core knowledge in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies. Our faculty teaches the essential skills and standards in each content area. Parents reinforce skills at home on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The faculty can provide reinforcement work on home days, but the parents are also free to choose their curriculum on home days.

• The three-day homeschool partnership program is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The three-day program focuses on core knowledge and adds a discovery component on Friday. During discovery, students explore the concepts with hands-on, sensory, experiential learning activities. For example, students may construct tents, work in the school garden, create bird houses, or explore nature.

• The five-day traditional program is Monday through Friday. In a seamless program of core knowledge, reinforcement, and discovery, students engage in high-level learning activities and experiential opportunities.

• Our teachers work with students on three levels: large group, small group, and individually. Each week, students receive one-on-one lessons in literacy and mathematics. Small group and large group activities reinforce broader concepts in creative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving, and core knowledge.

• After school enrichment programs are open to school families and community families. Students have the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities in one location. Space is limited, so call the school office for availability. The schedule is as follows:

            Thursday - Dance
            Friday - Science and Art
